ABOUT TRIPLE TAKE:
---------------------------------------------------------------
Triple Take v1.1 is a challenging card game for DOS. At the
beginning of each game, there will be 69 cards remaining in the
deck, 12 cards on the board, and 0 cards cleared. Each card has
four properties:

     1) Color: Green, Purple, Red
     2) Fill Pattern: Empty, Lines, Solid
     3) Shape: Circle, Rectangle, Square
     4) Number of Objects: One, Two, or Three

You must highlight three cards which...

... all have the same color OR all have different colors,
     AND
... all have the same fill pattern OR all have a different
     pattern,
     AND
... all have the same shape OR all have different shapes,
     AND
... all have the same number of objects OR all have a different
     number of objects

If that doesn't make sense, check out the EXAMPLES section!

Anyway, the cards will disappear if they meet the all of the
above conditions. They'll be replaced by three cards from the
deck (if three remain in the deck, of course). Keep on clearing
sets of three cards until it's not possible to clear any more.

If it's not possible to clear any more cards because there aren't
any left on the board, then you've accomplished the goal of
clearing all 81 cards! (Be sure to kick back and watch the show
if you succeed!) Piece of cake, right? I'll let you decide!

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
---------------------------------------------------------------
VGA Monitor (640x480 mode), DOS, and a mouse and/or keyboard. If
you want to use the mouse, make sure your mouse driver is loaded
before playing the game. You may (probably will) experience
problems if you try to run Triple Take in Windows!

as a group, will NOT be replaced by three others from the deck:

CHEATING:
---------------------------------------------------------------
You cannot cheat in Triple Take! The closest you can come to
cheating in Triple Take is to click on the "OVER?" button (ALT-O
if you're using the keyboard). If a new game starts, then you
could've spent all day & night looking and you wouldn't have be
able to clear more cards! If a new game doesn't start, look a
little harder at the cards on the board!

THE AUTHOR OF TRIPLE TAKE:
---------------------------------------------------------------
One of my hobbies is to program games using Turbo C 2.0. I got
the idea to program Triple Take after being told about an
excellent card game called SET (copyright SET Enterprises Inc.,
1988-1991).

Several friends became addicted to this card game, and asked me
to program it so they could play it on their PCs. This is the
result.
